Following the departure of noontime show mainstays Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon (TVJ), “Eat Bulaga” hosts Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola, Paolo Ballesteros, Maine Mendoza, Allan K, Ryan Agoncillo, and Ryzza Mae Dizon have also resigned from production company TAPE Inc.

Pauleen Luna, Vic’s wife, posted a copy of the hosts’ resignation letter to TAPE president Romeo Jalosjos, Jr. on her Instagram page on June 1st.
According to the letter, “Dear Mr. Jalosjos, dahil po sa mga nangyari, kami po ay magpapaalam na rin sa TAPE Inc. simula ngayong araw, May 31, 2023.”
Luna additionally uncovered that beside the hosts undersigned on the letter, the “authors, deals, creation and cameramen followed after accordingly following TVJ’s abdication.”
TVJ declared their takeoff from TAPE on Wednesday, May 31, with Tito unveiling how they were not permitted to air any live episodes per guidance from the “new administration.”
TAPE emphasized that “the success of ‘Eat Bulaga’ is not only dependent on three people,” despite describing the trio’s decision to leave as “unfortunate.”
The production company stated, “Ang pag-alis ng mga hosts ay hindi dahilan para tumigil ang pag-ikot ng mundo.”
